Work has nearly killed us all this week. Our colleagues have been off sick with some sort of flu with high fever as a result. The remaining staff has worked very hard to keep things running as smoothly as possible. This, however, involves covering for other teachers, doing the dishes in the dining room, tidying, taking care of our own lessons. It's been an exhausting few days. Sprits have been high, and we've had a good time, none the less.
Our boss was very nice and let us leave at noon today. Luckily, the sun is shining, so even though it's quite cold out today, it's been bliss sitting out on the balcony for the first time in a long time. I and Hugo enjoyed a lovely coffee in the sun. (I enjoyed the coffee, Hugo enjoyed the sun). The light does wonders for the soul.
