Am thrilled to see that Gordon Ramsay's F-Word series has returned for another season on Channel 4 in Britain. Unfortunately, we can't see it here, nor can we do view-on-demand because of legal resons. For anyone interested in fine cooking and sexy men, please check this wonderful website.

Had barbecue with maria and per yesterday. Hamburgers turned out well. I can't wait for summer holidays. Last night made it feel a bit closer. Got some chipotle sauce for the burgers from Chris, which was delicious! Smoky and quite strong.

Bellevuestock ´07

Tomorrow sees the light of the annual school music festival I put on with the kids every year. They are very well prepared and ready to go, and so am I. It's a lot to do before the show: rehearsing the songs, making sure everything is working and that you have all the stuff that you need to keep the ship afloat.
Wish me luck eh...
After that I'll take it half-easy at work, pretty much ready for summer break now. Honest.

Gardening Day

Woke up with a sudden urge to buy plants and flowers for the garden. Thought I could live without it, because it's such a hazzle when you leave the house, but no, I MUST have them.


Niall went along with it and thought it was a great idea, so we went to Tirups Örtagård outside Staffanstorp. It's a great little place that sells all herbs you could ever imagine. We bought 5 rosemary plants, 4 sage plants and one lemon thyme plant there. The car smelled somewhat better with the herbal addition.

We then went to Skåneplantor and bought a load of flowers for the garden. I've spent most of the day putting it together and it came together pretty well. Adds a bit of colour anyway. Just hope my bayleaf tree catches up with things, it's a bit under the weather. I need to buy another 6 yellow flowers for the big pot (see above) because 6 on their own weren't enough.

Be Good for Goodness Sake!

Oh well, the ARK didn't win the Eurovision tonight, but I didn't expect them to. 3 minutes isn't really enough for Ola Salo to win the hearts of Europe. I love the band, and I have seen them live many times, since they live in Malmö too. Funny thing tho, small gigs, like KB doesn't work for them I think. I much prefer the big gigs like festivals. Speaking of which , I really do hope they'll do Malmöfestivalen this year!

p.s. Ireland was kind enough to give the U.K. 7 points even though the song truly sucked. Does anybody have a clue as to WHY the UK songs suck so much recently? They are the number one music nation in the world for Chrissakes!

I had a dream...

Life being extremely hectic, both physically and mentally right now, with kids at school who have broken homes and whatnot, I just wish I could win the lottery so I could buy an outdoor spa. Really, just sit on my ass until I finally felt like getting up and taking care of things again. I'm completely drained today, and thank goodness it's summer soon. For a second today, I will pretend I'm in this wonderful spa which my work kindly treated its employees to at one point. Anybody has some cash to spare for a poor teacher? :)

Sometimes the world of Youtube, fascinating as it may be, be a bit toooooo bloody much. I'm aware that David Hasselhoff is the most googled person on the Internet, but this is taking it too far. (Yes, I thought it was quite funny, but it has nothing to do with the moral of this story!)

Another recording session today

Hi all!

My first recording of a bachelor-party went well! We did "Sexbomb" and "You're the One That I want" from Grease. The bride and groom recorded the same songs, but they weren't aware that it was to be turned into a duet. Fabulous! Big thank you to our close friend Per Sköld who came along and filmed everything. Hopefully this will turn into something really cool. Thoughts today go out to Maria who is home ill today.

A Native American in Catbay!

Yay folks!

Second recording customer today at Catbay. Went fine. I must trim up my level-setting skills however. It's actually the most tricky part. That as well as being short of time as well as having 10 people staring at the screen while you try to get it all together. Quite nerve-wracking really. The people today loved it, they loved the studio, the house, the reception! Thank you and hats off I say!

Browsing today's paper, I saw this Swedish article. Yesterday on my way home from work, I saw black smoke covering the blue sky. This, apparently is what happened next to where our best friends Maria and Per live, also very close to my old apartment. This old building had been abandoned for years.

Passion for Flavour

Hi all,

Today I thought I'd inspire all of you with a recipe that looks absolutely amazing. I will try my hand at it tomorrow when our friend Chris from Denmark comes to visit. I reckon it'll be a hit. Hope so anyway. Just the thought of honey-glazed chicken with some thyme and lemon makes me drool!

I know one thing for sure: We are so bad at remembering dates. I must try to remember some.

Why dont people protest when its needed instead of making something up on a specific date just for the sake of it?

Birthday meal at...

We just went to pizza hut for nialls birthday meal. Why does a large, sorry, family pizza cost 250 kr. We could have bought 10 pizzas for that in a local pizzeria!
